While browsing the crafts marketplace Etsy, we stumbled across a little supplies shop we thought some of our readers might be interested in.
BeckyCharms & Co. sells packs of Sharpie markers in custom color-coded sets that are meant to inspire specific moods and themes.
We’re starting to see some interesting artwork come out of Hurricane Sandy, the monster storm that wrecked the northeast coast of the US a couple weeks ago.
While the storm raged, artists were inspired to pick up pens and paper and create images of what they were experiencing. The results range from simple sketches of families watching the waves come in to surrealistic paintings of iconic news footage.
If you prefer to write a finer line then the Pilot V Ball 0.5 may be for you. A liquid ink rollerball that writes a 0.3mm line. This stick pen is available with light blue, red, green, black, blue, pink or last but not least violet ink, which is the colour I’ve chosen to review.
I’ve yet to come across a ballpoint pen to get excited about, nevertheless they remain a popular choice with many. Undoubtedly they have come a long way since inventors finally cracked the problems with ink leaking & clogging, all those years ago.
I’ve written before about my preference for a medium nib, that said the Uni-Ball UB155 Micro Deluxe is a pen that could prove to be an exception to the rule should I need to cram a lot of text into a small space.
