So, when it comes to ink pens one of the best ways to reduce your environmental footprint is to buy recycled pens. However, this is easier said than done as most manufacturers do not make pens from recycled materials because they are a lot more expensive to produce.
One manufacturer has stepped up to the challenge and this is Pilot Pens with their BeGreeN range of recycled pens. The BeGreeN range (no, we don’t know why the “n” is capitalized) is made from recycled plastics but look and function just like standard Pilot pens and mechanical pencils. According to the company, the percentage of recycled materials in pens is calculated by the weight, excluding replaceable parts such as ink cartridges or pencil lead.
