1. Ohto D1 Needlepoint Multi-Pen Refills

Ohto D1 refills are a standard size complying with ISO 12757-1, measuring 67.5mm in length and 2.3mm in diameter. The Ohto D1 refills are among the few D1 refills with a needle tip and a bonus: they are quite a smooth writer.

These refills are ideal for those that like to write with a fine, precise line.

Ohto D1 refills are mainly fitted to their multi-function pens and are available in either a 0.5mm with black ink or 0.7mm with black, blue, or red ink.

1.1. Ohto R-4C5NP D1 Needlepoint Refill 0.5mm

The Ohto R-4C5NP is a standard size D1 refill measuring 67.5mm and 2.3mm in diameter.

It has a 0.5mm needle tip and black ink.

The Ohto R-4C5NP fits the following pens:

• Ohto NBP-505MN Minimo miniature ballpoint pen

As it is a standard D1 refill size, somebody can use it in any pen that takes this size refill.

1.2. Ohto R-4C7NP D1 Needlepoint Refill 0.7mm

The Ohto R-4C7NP is a standard size D1 refill measuring 67.5mm long and 2.3mm in diameter.

It has a 0.7mm needle tip and is available in black, blue, or red ink.

The Ohto R-4C5NP fits the following pens:

2. Ohto Euro Format Roller Refills

The Ohto C-300 series of refills is a highly regarded Euro Format refill due to its ceramic ball and smooth writing ink.

The C-300 refills are available in four tip sizes and four ink colors.

A Euro Format refill is a refill that measures 110mm in length and has a barrel diameter of 6.3mm, as stated in ISO 12757-1 R.B.

In theory, you can fit these refills to any other pen that takes this type of refill, but this is not always the case.

2.1. Ohto C300 Series Roller Refills

The Ohto -300 roller refills are extremely smooth writing due to smooth flowing water-based liquid ink and ceramic ball tip.

Ceramic balls have many advantages over the traditional tungsten carbide balls, including:

• Uneven Surface – creates natural reservoirs of ink, keeping the ball constantly wet
• Diamond-Like Hardness – tough and retains its shape, providing a consistent, smooth rotation & uniform line width.
• Corrosion Resistant – Does not rust when exposed to the elements or left in damp conditions.

Ohto Ceramic refills also have a non-dry mechanism that allows the cap to be left off, and its ink will not dry out.

There are four tip sizes in the Ohto C-300 series, which are

• C-304 – 0.4mm ceramic ball tip
• C-305 – 0.5mm ceramic ball tip
• C-307 – 0.7mm ceramic ball tip
• C-310 – 1.0mm ceramic ball tip

The C-305 is the standard refill in most Ohto ceramic roller pens, but any C-300 series refills will work.

They are available in four ink colors: blue-black, black, blue, or red ink.

Ohto C-300 roller pen refills are the standard Euro Format refill measuring 111mm in length and 6.2mm in diameter.

They fit in not only Ohto roller pens but also in any other pen that takes a euro format refill

2.2. Ohto C-304 Ceramic Roller Refill 0.4mm

The Ohto C-304 ceramic roller refill has a smooth flowing water-based ink and a 0.4mm ceramic ball in its tip, measuring 111mm in length and 6.2mm in diameter.

It is available with blue-black, black, blue, or red ink.

The Ohto C-304 refill will fit any roller pen fitted with an Ohto C-300 refill.

The Ohto C-304 refill fits the following pens:

2.3. Ohto C-305 Ceramic Roller Refill 0.5mm

The Ohto C-307 ceramic roller refill has a smooth flowing water-based ink and a 0.7mm ceramic ball in its tip, measuring 111mm in length and 6.2mm in diameter.

It is available with blue-black, black, blue, or red ink.

The Ohto C-307 refill will fit any roller pen fitted with an Ohto C-300 refill and is also the standard Euro Format size and will fit many other rollerball pens that take this type of refill.

2.5. Ohto C-310 Ceramic Roller Refill 1.0mm

The Ohto C-307 ceramic roller refill has a smooth flowing water-based ink and a 0.7mm ceramic ball in its tip, measuring 111mm in length and 6.2mm in diameter.

It is available with blue-black, black, blue, or red ink.

The Ohto C-307 refill will fit any roller pen fitted with an Ohto C-300 refill and is also the standard Euro Format size and will fit many other rollerball pens that take this type of refill.

3. Ohto Japan Type Refills

A Japan-type refill is a PVC ballpoint pen refill that measures 3mm in diameter and usually has a crimped area to stop the spring from sliding up the refill.

Not all refills have this crimped area there; some Japan-type refills do not have this crimped area and are held in place by the cap.

The refill’s length determines if it will fit in your pen.

Ohto makes several Japan-type plastic refills 3mm in diameter but with different lengths.

3.1. Ohto 175NP Needlepoint Ballpoint Pen Refill 0.5mm

The Ohto 175NP Needle-Point Ballpoint Pen refill has a 0.5mm needle tip that writes a 0.2mm line. Ohto refers to the refill as a soft ink roller with an oil-based waterproof ink.

This refill is only available with black ink.

The Ohto 175NP is used to refill the following pens:

• Ohto NBP-285 Needlepoint Ballpoint Pen
• Ohto NBP-1C5 Rub Ballpoint Pen

It measures 116.5mm in length, 3mm in diameter, and has a spring stop crimped partway up the barrel.

3.2. Ohto 177NP Needlepoint Ballpoint Pen Refill 0.7mm

The Ohto 177NP Needle-Point Ballpoint Pen refill has a 0.7mm needle tip that writes a 0.35mm line. Ohto refers to the refill as a soft ink roller with an oil-based waterproof ink.

This refill is only available with black ink.

4. Ohto Parker Style G2 Refills

Ohto makes two standard parker style refills that comply with ISO 12757.

The Ohto PG-105NP Needlepoint Gel Pen Refill 0.5mm and the Ohto PS-107NP Needlepoint Ballpoint Pen Refill 0.7mm.

The Ohto PG-105NP is a particularly popular refill and fitted as an alternative pen refill to other brands of pens due to its needle tip and quick-drying smooth writing gel ink.

The Ohto Rays gel pen uses this refill and is a firm favorite with Left-hand users who prefer a pen with fast-drying ink.

4.1. Ohto PG-105NP Needlepoint Ballpoint Pen Refill

The Ohto PG-105NP refill is a super quick-drying gel ink and a 0.5mm needlepoint tip, also known as an Ohto Flash Dry Refill, a name coined by one of the large online U.S Pen Retailors.

It is a standard Parker Style refill measuring 98.4mm in length and 5.8mm in diameter, suitable for use in many other pens that take this type of refill.

The Ohto PG-105NP Needlepoint Gel Pen Refill fits the following pens.

• Ohto Horizon Gel Ink Roller Pen – NKG605H
• Ohto Rays Gel Ink Roller Pen – NKG-255R

4.2. Ohto PS-107NP Needlepoint Ballpoint Pen Refill

The Ohto PS-107NP Needle-Point Ballpoint Pen refill has a 0.7mm needle tip that writes a 0.35mm line. Ohto refers to the refill as a soft ink roller with an oil-based waterproof ink.

It is a standard Parker Style refill measuring 98.4mm in length and 5.8mm in diameter, which means that it is suitable for use in many other pens that take this type of refill.

The Ohto PS-107NP Needlepoint Ballpoint Pen Refill fits the following pens.

5. Propriety Refills

A propriety size refill is a refill made by a manufacturer to specific dimensions for their pens and usually cannot be fitted to any other pen brand.

Ohto has a couple of  this type of refill, the Ohto KBR-907NP Needlepoint Ballpoint Pen Refill, and the Ohto KGR-805NPD Gel Ink Roller Refill

5.1. Ohto KBR-907NP Needlepoint Ballpoint Pen Refill 0.7mm

The Ohto KBR-907NP Needle-Point Ballpoint Pen refill has a 0.7mm needle tip that writes a 0.35mm line. Ohto refers to the refill as a soft ink roller with an oil-based waterproof ink.

This refill is available in black or red ink.

The Ohto KBR-907NP is used to refill the following pens:

• Ohto Long Writer Soft Ink Roller Pen – NBP-2L7A
• Ohto Long Writer Soft Ink Roller Pen – NBP-2L7
• Ohto Desk Pen – DP-100RW
• Ohto Desk Pen – DS-1500RW

It measures 111.3mm in length and 5.9mm in diameter. Even though it is the same length as a Euro format refill and looks similar, the barrel diameter is too large.

The KBR-907NP  is a propriety size refill and cannot be used to refill other pens.

5.2. Ohto KGR-805NPD Gel Ink Roller Refill 0.5mm

The Ohto KGR-805NPD gel ink roller refill has a 0.5mm tip in black, blue, or red ink.

The Ohto KGR-805NPD is used to refill the following pens:

• Ohto K-Words II Gel Ink Roller Pen – NKG-1KWB5

It measures 111.3mm in length and 6.2mm in diameter. Even though it is the same length as a Euro format refill and looks similar, the barrel diameter is too large.

The KGR-805NPD   is a propriety size refill and cannot be used to refill other pens.

6. Ohto Fountain Pen Ink Cartridges

Ohto fountain pen ink cartridges are the international standard short-size cartridges, only available in blue-black ink and packs of 6 cartridges.

Ohto ink cartridges fit the following fountain pens:

• Ohto FF-15D Dude Fountain Pens
• Ohto FF-10NB F-Lapa Fountain Pens
• Ohto FF-20MJ Majestic Fountain Pens
• Ohto FF-15P Poche Fountain Pens
• Ohto FF-15F Proud Fountain Pens

Ohto ink cartridges fit any fountain pen that uses international size ink cartridges.
