The ACME Ballpoint Pen Refill is their P900 (Rebranded Shmidt P900 refill), but it has a plastic adapter fitted to the tip and the end of the barrel.

These adapters convert the refill into the same size as a standard Euro Format rollerball pen refill.

The refill is available in seven colors and has a medium tip. If you check the ACME website, you can see that the ACME Ballpoint Pen refill is about 3 dollars more than the ACME P900 refill.

The plastic adapters can easily be removed, so you can save a few dollars and fit them onto Acme or Schmidt P900 refills.

They are more valuable than they first appear as ACME pens are a luxury brand with a premium price tag.

So if you own two or three of their standard rollerball pens, you can cycle through them with the ACME Fountain Pen Converter as your mood takes you.

According to ACME, the conversion kits have German-made stainless steel nibs with an iridium point and, in all likelihood, manufactured by Schmidt, who supplies them with pen refills.

There are five kits available which are:
