Mention the name Stabilo & the first thing that comes to my mind are highlighter pens. I learned recently that these are not all this company produce. Needing to make notes on a black & white document I picked up a red Stabilo Worker rollerball with a medium 0.8mm tip from a local store.
How often do you use the same pen? I have heard that some people can only write with a particular type of pen. I on the other hand am happy to sample a variety of writing instruments.
This Uni-ball Gel Impact has a broad 1.0mm ball. My first impression was that the black, silver & smokey grey barrel looked stylish. It is complimented by the silver nib housing & the rubber grip is comfortable to hold.
As the ink in gel pens is opaque & thick it tends to write a bold clear line, I liked the fact that the black ink was very intense.
I have always made a point of keeping a pen & paper in my car. This morning, I was pleased to be able to reach into my glove compartment & pick up a Pilot Rexgrip. Whilst taking a steady drive to the shops, somebody decided to try to park in my boot.
Details taken & not too much damage done, I thought that as I haven’t reviewed the Rexgip before I would bring it home & put it to the test.
Let me just start by saying that I have never really been into crosswords, all those cryptic clues have simply seemed like a challenge too far. That all changed recently whilst sitting in a hospital waiting room. Needing something to pass the time & relieve my boredom, I picked up an arrow word puzzle from a nearby table. The only pen I had in my bag was a Uni-ball Vision Elite, I sat back & set to work with a spot of puzzle solving.
